January

Just thought I'd pop in with a quick Erin update!

A lot has been going on lately!

Cory and I bought some new things for the apartment and did a lot of rearranging, and even put together an entertainment stand...together...under Knuckles' careful supervision...

Lauren and I got to spend a super fun girls' night with Miss Holly...

...and my bestest friend Angel has been in town! And we totally are better than you at Penthouse Photo Hunt.

Last Saturday was also my mom's birthday, so Cory, Kyle, and I went out to lunch with her, then Cory, Kyle and I went on a mission to get her a present at a spa (easier said than done, but Kyle got us there...eventually), and then Cory and I later went out to dinner with my mom and dad at The Seafood, which was delicious, and then me, my mom, and Cory went to see Gran Turrino, which was super funny and really, really good. Clint Eastwood is a badass. For reals. Oh, and Cory and I also went out to a birthday breakfast with my mom and Lauren on Sunday after church. So we did a lot of birthday eating this weekend. But, duh, my family loves food, it's delicious.
Also! I still love my new job. Today was my first day running my own teller window without anyone shadowing me, and I didn't mess up! Yay! The girls at the branch I've been working for the past week or so really love cookies and other sweets and it's a good thing I'm a float teller and won't always be working with them, because even though they are all really fun, sweet girls, I would gain 70 pounds if I worked with them everyday.
There's lots more going on but the library is about to close. Hope everyone had a great weekend and have a great week!

Snow Cone

We are a bit snowed in today due to the fact that me and Bobby have crappy cars that don't drive well in snow (especially when roads haven't been plowed), and Cory's car has decided to not let him ever unlock the doors again. So we all bundled up and walked to the library, and it's a snowy winter wonderland out there! It's fun to have a snowday when you don't have anywhere you HAVE to go... It's very peaceful to walk in the snow with hardly anyone else around...

Tonight I am going to make dinner and bake cookies and maybe rent some videos or something... Luckily we live close to a bunch of stuff we can walk to.

Started my new job this week, love it so far! And everyone there says they love their jobs, so that's very encouraging.

Hope everyone's having a lovely Saturday!

Cheers!

I am blogging from my new iPod touch! It was my Christmas present from Cory and it's seriously awesome! Cory is a super sweet boyfriend. And I am addicted to this thing. Even though it may make my eyes fall out from staring at the tiny screen all the time. Totally worth it. Started my new job today, I love it so far! All of the people are really nice, there is job security (first time for everything, eh?), and I think I will really enjoi the work. Plus it was nice to be back with the working members of society, I think my couch and I were getting just a little too comfortable with each other these past couple of months.

Anyhoo, cheers to 2009- may it not be the massive shit-storm that 2008 was!

Have a great week, everyone!

Ringin' It In....

Happy New Year!! I gotta be quick cause my time at the library's almost up, but wanted to share a few pictures... The above picture is actually from Bethany's belated birthday party.

Below are examples of how we all rang in the New Year...

Bobby and I, with champagne and sweet poses....

Bri and Nev, by being super cute....and also some bottle rockets...

Dani, by toasting the New Year and promptly passing out...

Josh, by peeing his pants, apparently....

Hutch, with a sweet smile...until he took his pants off with Bobby, but that was waaayy later...

And of course, me and Cory....another year, with a whole bunch of new stuff happening, hopefully all of it good....

I have high hopes for 2009....
Hope it's great for all of you!
