Now for a quick Thanksgiving trip recap:
We went to visit Cory's aunt and uncle for Thanksgiving, like we do every year. We went to see the movie Twilight (totally my idea, I read all the books, I am 16 inside). I loved it, which is cool cause I expected to hate it, cause movies made from books are usually a disappointment and I was unsure about the actors. But, yeah. It was a really good movie and now I'm super excited for the next 3. Especially the 4th one cause the 4th book was my favorite and was the most vampire-y.
We went to Philadelphia, where I got to go to the Mutter Museum of Medical History, which was a little gross but mostly super interesting. Loved it. Highly recommended if you ever find yourself in Philadelphia. To further entice you, the mannequins in Philadelphia look like this:

You know, in case learning isn't enough to get you there.
We also went to the Yeungling Brewery in Pottsville, PA. This brewery is the oldest in the U.S. Yeungling is delicious and the brewery guy said they are trying to start selling it in Ohio soon, which I'm all for.
Mural of disgruntled Yeungling workers (you'd be disgruntled, too, if you had to work in a hot, unventilated room in those outfits):

Me, Dawn, Cory and Colleen in the old keg filling room:

The trip was a really good time and Cory's aunt and uncle are always the best hosts. They go out of their way to take us places to do fun things, and his aunt is a great cook, and everyone knows Erin loves delicious food.
And now it's Christmastime! I love Christmas! I already have my tree up and stockings hung, and I've watched The Grinch and visited the Manor House Homespun Holidays with my mom. Next up, Lights at the Zoo.
Darren was in town this weekend, and we got to hang out on Friday and go to Lauren's 'Tis the Secor art show. Very good times, and Lauren's art, as always, is amazing. I highly recommend that everyone keep an eye out for shows at Secor Studios, the place is full of awesome artists and the shows never disappoint. Especially when you visit Lauren and Jerry (Quest for Fire Studios) on the 7th floor.
Hope everyone is having a happy holiday season or at least, a happy Tuesday. :)

Dang! I can't believe you went to Yuengling. That's like a dream vacation for me. Sweet pictures too. I'm also glad to hear they'll be distributing in Ohio. I went to Florida this year and every bar had that on tap. I got used to drinking it, came back here and denied!
Glad to hear about the jobs, I think if worse came to worse you and Cory could have went and got a job at Yuengling as beer tasters. :)
oh sexy mannequin! I love Philadelphia.
