Enjoi.
First up, Stuart riding Bobby down the stairs of our apartment building on my birthday last October. I was unemployed on my birthday, and we got drunk. Very drunk. And we ended up getting yelled at by some guy who lived on the 1st floor, and even though everything he said was justified (we WERE being pretty loud and it was 2:00 a.m. on a Thursday night), all I thought at the time was, "Uh, this dude is yelling at me on my birthday. I don't have to be quiet! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" But I showed the maturity of my 27 years and instead of yelling those thoughts at him, I simply apologized and told him that we would move away from the building.

Next up, this is an eggplant. Years ago, when Lauren and I still lived at home and had bedrooms next to each other, Lauren came into my room out of the blue one night and tacked a picture she had drawn of an eggplant to my wall. I said, "What's that?" and she said, "It's an eggplant. Now whenever someone comes into your room and sees the eggplant on your wall, they'll say, 'Why do you have a picture of an eggplant on your wall?'" Then she walked out. And everyone who walked into my room after that asked, "Why do you have a picture of an eggplant on your wall?" However, the picture below is not that eggplant. It is an eggplant I saw on the wall at a Christmas party and took a picture of to send to Lauren, because it was only the second picture of an eggplant I've ever seen hung on a wall. (Note: The eggplant picture was nothing compared to the time I came home and Lauren had turned my bedroom into a mock crime scene, complete with stuffed animal bodies lined in chalk and plastic guns bagged and tagged as evidence. I miss living with Lauren...).

This is New Dog, Abe, at the pet store, waiting for my mom to finish filling out his adoption papers. Abe-y and I picked out that dog toy together. He makes sure to squeak it very loudly everytime I come to visit him at my parent's house. I heart Abe.

When I was unemployed, I took a lot of pictures of my cat. Including this one. And several others like it. OK, tons of others like it. But, that is to be expected because I spent a lot of time on my couch. With the cat. Having some snuggles and watching the television. Ah, unemployment... P.S. It was Knuckles' idea to watch Days Of Our Lives everyday, I swear.

This is Kyle's cat, Samson, on my parent's stairway. I was chatting with my dad and we looked over and he was just sitting like that. I dunno...maybe Kyle teaches him these moves when we're not around.

And this is Sara's dog, Onyx, last Friday. I want to state, for the record, that I am against animals in clothing. I think it's silly and a little bit cruel. But, Sara insists that Onyx is too small and will freeze her tiny lil' butt off in the winter if she is not wearing clothing. I call this Onyx's cape, although I guess you could also call it a vest. Either way, I still don't approve, but Onyx seems to enjoi it. And Bobby got yelled at for trying to take it off (Sara's exact words were, "Don't undress that child!" which made it sound like Bobby was doing something way worse than he really was).
