Drinks, cakes, and art

I'm very conflicted about today being Thursday. On the one hand, I'm always happy for a Thursday because it's that much closer to Friday and the weekend, but on the other hand, tomorrow is my friend Amy's last day here at work, so I'm not looking very forward to this particular Friday. I'm very happy for Amy cause she gets to move out to Las Vegas and it's a great opportunity for her, and I'm sure it will be lots of fun, but I'm very sad for me cause my work buddy will be gone. I won't have as much fun around here without her!

Last night a bunch of us met up at Bunker's for "Amy's-leaving-let's-have-drinks" drinks, which was a fantastically good time. I even caught myself a bit of a buzz. And Amy got to hear some of the embarrassing stories about me Mike saves up for just such occasions. And believe-you-me, there are a lot of those sorts of stories about me out there...

Today we had cake, brownies, and cheese cakes in Miss Amy's honor. Now I have a morning sugar high...

In other news, my cousin Claire has NOT had her baby yet, but if he doesn't come by tomorrow morning, she's getting induced. So, one way or another, I will have a new cousin by tomorrow. :)

She now has a new series she's been working on, an elephant series, and they are definitely something to see.
